NOTICES: TRANFER OF POWERS AND DUTIES IN TERMS OF SECTION 31(2)(a) OF THE HEALTH ACT, 1977 (ACT 63 OF 1977)

Under and by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 31(2)(a) of the Health Act, 1977 (Act 63 of 1977), I, Minister of Health hereby order that all the powers conferred and duties imposed on the Municipality of Rawsonville under the Health Act, 1977, be transferred, with effect from 1 August 1982, to the Divisional Council of Matroosberg for a further period of five years, up to 31 July 1987.

Under and by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 31(2)(a) of the Health Act, 1977 (Act 63 of 1977), I, Minister of Health hereby order that the duty of providing personal health services imposed on the Municipality of Vanderkloof under the Health Act, 1977, be transferred to the Municipality of Petrusville for an indefinite period with effect from 1 September 1982.

Under and by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 31(2)(a) of the Health Act, 1977 (Act 63 of 1977), I, Minister of Health hereby order that all the powers conferred and duties imposed, in terms of the Health Act, 1977 (act 63 of 977), upon the Transvaal Board for the Development of Peri-Urban Areas, in respect of the Roodekopjes Residential Area which falls within its area of jurisdiction, be transferred to the Municipality of Brits for an indefinite period, with effect from 1 August 1982.

Under and by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 31(2)(a) of the Health Act, 1977 (Act 63 of 1977), I, Minister of Health hereby order that all the powers conferred and duties imposed on the Municipality of Stella under the Health Act, 1977, be transferred, with effect from 1 January 1984, to the Divisional Council of Stellaland for a further period of five years, up to 31 December 1988.

Under and by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 31(2)(a) of the Health Act, 1977 (Act 63 of 1977), I, Minister of Health have with effect from 1 April 1984 –

  1. repealed the provisions of Government Notice 1142 of 1976; and

  2. transferred to the Divisional Council of Stormberg, for an indefinite period, all the powers and duties, in respect of personal services, conferred and imposed on the Municipality of Cathcart under the Health Act, 1977, in respect of personal health services.

Under and by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 31(2)(a) of the Health Act, 1977 (Act 63 of 1977), I, Minister of Health have with effect from 1 July 1986 –

  1. withdrawn the provisions of Government Notice 153 of 1977; and

  2. transferred to the Municipality of Richmond, for an indefinite period, all the powers and duties, in respect of personal services, conferred and imposed on the Divisional Council of Richmond under the Health Act, 1977.

Under and by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 31(2)(a) of the Health Act, 1977 (Act 63 of 1977), I, Minister of Health hereby order that all the powers conferred and duties imposed on the Divisional Council of Kenhardt in terms of Government Notice No. 1126 of 25 June 1976, be transferred to the Municipality of Kenhardt with effect from 1 July 1986.

Under and by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 31(2)(a) of the Health Act, 1977 (Act 63 of 1977), I, Minister of Health hereby order that all the powers conferred and duties imposed on the Municipality of Rawsonville under the Health Act, 1977, be transferred, with effect from 1 August 1987, to the Divisional Council of Matroosberg for a further period of five years, up to 31 July 1992.

The Minister of Health hereby withdraw under section 31(2)(a) of the Health Act, 1977, with effect from 1 June 1990 the provisions of Government Notice No. 1126 of 25 June 1976 in so far as they apply to the Municipality of Kakamas.
