• Reduce turn around time of applications that come to the MBOD
• Increase x-mine workers that undergo benefit medical examination

• To re-establish the radiological inspectorate of MBOD to advice

• Enforcement of new ODMWA amendments after agreement reached with Tripartite Committee

• Create advocacy unit in Provinces on Occupational Diseases in Mines and Works Act (ODMWA)
• Awareness campaigns in mines for active mine workers on provisions of ODMWA as amended
• Increase number of mines workers to undergo Benefit Medical Examination
• Promote Occupational Diseases in Mines and Works Act amongst health service providers in public and private sector with CPD points allocated
• To hold community workshops on provisions of ODMWA in mining communities
