COMPOSITION OF DELEGATIONS

STATUS AND NUMBER OF DELEGATES

To enable the host to make the necessary arrangements for the reception of delegates, it is important that all Member States communicate the relevant information by Friday, 16 March 2007 to the AU Conference Coordination Unit at the Department of Health of South Africa with the duly completed registration forms (See Annexure A) in respect of each member of its delegation. The registration forms can be faxed or e-mailed to the AU Conference Coordination Unit at the Department of Health of South Africa, and must be submitted under cover of a formal diplomatic note listing the names of the members of the delegation, with copies to

For planning purposes, it is recommended that the number of delegates from each member state should not exceed five (5) delegates.    

REGISTRATION AND ACCREDITATION OF DELEGATES

All delegates will have to obtain accreditation on arrival, which will be done at the Accreditation Centre, situated at the Sandton Conference Centre.  Live accreditation will be done and a valid passport or national identification document must be presented.  All the delegates will be issued with identification badges. Entrance to the Sandton Convention Centre will strictly be on such identification.  All delegates are urged to send their duly completed registration forms by not later than Friday, 16th March 2007 to the AU Conference Coordination Unit at the Department of Health of South Africa under cover of a diplomatic note to ensure that the members of the delegation are duly accredited. 

The Accreditation Centre will be open from Saturday, 7th April 2007 to Thursday, 12 April 2007,from 08:00 until 18:00. All journalists will be accredited at the Sandton Conference Centre.
