ACCOMODATION

A list of recommended hotels, from which suitable transport to the Conference venue would be availed are submitted for consideration.  Delegates should contact hotels in the list directly to make their reservations.  The delegates will be responsible for settling all expenses during their stay in Johannesburg. The recommended hotels in the Sandton area are:

It should be noted that hotels usually require deposits within 48 hours of making the reservation, failing which, the reservation will be cancelled.  It would be recommended if the AU Conference Coordination Unit at the Department of Health of South Africa could be informed of where the delegates will be accommodated in order that the transportation between the hotels and the Sandton Conference Centre could be arranged.
